Kala Johnson

Chief Executive Officer | Creative Director

Ms. K. Johnson has a B.A in Graphic Design from the Memphis College of Art. She is currently enrolled for an M.A. in Animation at the University of the Arts - San Fransisco, CA. She has a terrific vision for art, animation, and graphic design. She loves connecting with children through fun and informative graphics.

Seabelo Chabo John

Chief Operating Officer | Content Developer

Mr. S. C. John has a B.A. in International Business from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and an M.A. in Teaching degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He is currently in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D) - Leadership program at St. John's University in New York, NY. He loves creative story-telling and has a strong passion for childhood education and community health.

Imagine Graphic Medicine (GraphicMed) is a global online start-up based in the USA. We believe life-saving information from doctors does not have to be too boring or difficult for children to understand.

At GraphicMed, we create comics and coloring books that engage and teach children about health. We make health education fun and enjoyable using cool graphics and amazing stories for you to enjoy!

Every child in the world should have their own health comic book. This is, our mascot turtle, Kai's dream. GraphicMed books help children overcome fears of going to the dentist, understand how allergies work, and develop positive thoughts about leading healthy lives at a young age as Kai guides them. We partner with local hospitals such as LeBonheur in Memphis, TN to provide our books to patients there. In 2018, We established a strong relationship with the United Nations Foundation and are currently working on their global campaigns for eradicating polio and reducing malaria in South America, Africa, and Asia.
